Is There a Generic for Plavix?

If your healthcare provider has prescribed the antiplatelet drug Plavix® (clopidogrel bisulfate), you may be wondering if there is a generic version. At this time, Plavix is available only as a brand-name drug. However, this could change once the patent for it expires.
